Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading waisted foot, the lower body with concave sides, flaring outwards at the shoulder, concave neck, narrow bands of beading around the lower body and the shoulder, a wider band of beading around the exterior neck, beak spout with moulded underside, double curved scrolled loop handle with raised thumb-spur; a broad band of a yellowish-buff ground around the lower body, this sprigged with three floral sprigs which have been overpainted in green enamel and copper lustre, the foot, upper body, interior and exterior neck, spout and handle covered with copper lustre apart from a band of a yellowish-buff ground arounf the lower neck.
