Roman samian bowl
The moulding of the decoration is bold and somewhat coarse. There is a thick stemmed scroll with a seven pointed rosette, and the common bud and double leaf motif. The type is recorded by Knorr on work stamped by Meddillus, Mercato, Mommo, Niger, Paullus and Secundus.
