Wedding dress
Pale grey silk wedding dress (bodice and skirt). Worn by Ada Walters on her marriage to James Parry in Newport, 1902. High cut bodice with long tightly fitted sleeves. Series of tucks at shoulder line. Mandarin collar appliques with white lace. Lapels and cuffs decorated with appliqued grey braid. Cream silk front inset. Hook and eye fastening. Full skirt trimmed with appliqued braid.
