Inkwell
Inkwell, the body made from a cup, soft-paste porcelain, with high curving sides; the cup decorated in enamels with transverse bands of green picked out with gilt alternating with sprays of flowers. The cup mounted in ormolu to form the inkwell, standing on a solid ormolu base with foliate moulding and four scroll legs, two dolphin supports to either side of the cup, and around the top an ormolu collar with raised moulded scrolls at the rim and in the centre a round hole into which slots a solid ormolu stopper surmounted by the figure of a putto.
