Jug
Jug, earthenware, standing on a roughly oval spreading waisted foot-rim, the foot-rim moulded with an incised scroll-like design, bulbous body tapering inwards at the shoulder before flaring out to a lobed lip-rim, the body moulded with raised realistically modelled rabbits or hares, birds and a fox-like animal, which hang upside down from the neck of the jug to the base, the areas not covered by moulded animals moulded with flowers and foliage, wide beak spout, high loop handle modelled in the shape of a realistically formed greyhound which peers down into the interior of the jug; the jug covered all over with a pale blue glaze. The lip-rim chipped.
