Jug, pale-brown coloured stoneware, in the form of a head and shoulders bust of Nelson, with a high-collared coat, a medal on a ribbon around his neck, a tricorn hat with a rosette to the front of it, and curling hair gathered in a ponytail to the back of the jug, loop handle with cablework moulding to resemble a length of rope; covered all over with a salt-glaze.
