Sunday School banner from Capel Rhiw, Blaenau Ffestiniog.

Single sided with image of Jesus, five children and a woman painted onto fine blue wool tabby fabric. Above image: yellow foliage and yellow scroll with inscription in black. Below image: green scroll with inscription. Along bottom edge: place name BLAENAU FFESTINIOG in black in yellow gorund. Yellow silk and cotton patterned-weave ribbon applied around all four edges, zig-zag-shaped yellow loosely-spun fringe with blue and yellow warps along lower edge. Seven blue pole-loops along top edge. Steadying ropes of yellow silk (cellulosic core) attached to lower corners. Wool-covered wooden tassel at ends of these (only one remains). Inscribed: 'BLODEU'R OES Y RHIW M.C./ GADEWCH I BLANT BYCHAIN DDYFOD ATAF FI / BLAENAU FFESTINIOG'.
