Iron Age copper alloy helmet
This head-piece, with the characteristic comb associated with the defensive armour affected by the Gauls, is of bronze and decorated with small incised concentric circles ; at the back and front at the base of the skull are three prongs, reminiscent of the rostrum on the Greek galleys.
