Cup and saucer
Cup, hard-paste porcelain, inset base, cylindrical sides, square handle with foliate moulding at the terminals; to the front of the exterior body a rectangular panel painted with a classical scene with four female figures, including a reclining Diana/Actaeon and a dog, the panel enclosed by a gilt border, to the other side of the body to either side of the handle sprays of ivy leaves in gilt, gilt bands around the foot-rim and lip-rim, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, hard-paste porcelain, inset base and flaring sides; decorated in gilt with to the centre of the well a foliate motif, a border of stylized leaves around the edge of the well, a heavy gilt line around the edge of the rim.
