Pot-pourri bowl and cover
Pot-pourri bowl, deep cream-coloured earthenware with a greeny-yellow tinge to the glaze, inset base, flaring cylindrical sides with around the lower body a banded and ribbed decoration, round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a flower with a stem and leaves, the upper body of the basket and the top of the cover decorated with formal pierce-work patterns, a moulded foliate band around the exterior lip-rim of the bowl; left a deep cream colour and glazed. One side of the bowl and the cover cracked and repaired.
