Interior view showing the plate mill engine viewed from the ENE, c.1894. One two horizontal high pressure rolling mill engines by Daniel Adamson & Co, Dukinfield, near Manchester, in an advanced stage of assembly. The plate mill was twin cylinder, and the slab mill was single cylinder. The rolling mill stands can be seen at the right.
