Miner's dial
Miner's dial used by Captain Edward Williams at the Dylife-Llanbrynmair (Montgomeryshire) lead mines then owned by Richard Cobden (1804-1865) and John Bright (1811-1889). Circular dial within rectangular wooden base with brass sights (2) and spirit level top right hand corner with brass tripod ring base for attaching to tripod and two brass securing hinges on right hand side and two hinges on left hand side.
