Post-Medieval pottery bucket handle cooking pot
Rim and rod handle from a bucket handle pot. A fine fabric, well fired, with occasional white inclusions and large quartz grits. The fabric appears mid to dark grey in colour with a reddy brown unglazed outer surface and a very dark brown /green internal glaze, reaching almost the rim in places. The twisted rod handle is placed across the top of the pot slight set back from the centre to aollow pouring..
