Patchwork chest of drawers cover made from military uniform cloth in 1883 by Richard Evans while serving with the Army in India. The reverse is inscribed with the words: 'Rhodd i fy Mam Sarah Evans' [A gift for my Mother Sarah Evans]. Geometric design, made from red and black fulled woollen cloths. Red and black fringe on all four sides.
