Early Medieval lead weight
Roughly triangular lead weight capped with a decorated copper alloy mount. The applied mount is the terminal from a pseudo-penannular brooch. The central roundel has interlaced knotwork and is framed by three lentoid cusps with collets in between for amber or glass studs (now missing).
Viking lead weight for weighing silver.
The lead weights found at Llanbedr-goch show that people there were heavily involved in trade around the Irish Sea and beyond. Traders bartered or exchanged goods, or paid mainly in silver by weight.
