Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Plate, waved rim, comprising six small and six large lobes, narrow foot rim; the centre painted with an arrangement of flowers and fruit including three pink roses, white aster, blue delphinium, primula, an apple, white currants, an orange and two plums; apple-green ground rim, plain gilt outer border, waved gilt inner border, reserved with three polychrome sprays of flowers in foliate cartouches between floral sprays in raised gilding. Recieved with a large semi-circular travelling crack.
