Llanelly Pottery Company Ltd, South Wales Pottery (1912 - 1923)
Jar, earthenware, standing on a spreading rounded foot-rim, cylindrical sides with to the lower body a number of raised and incised rings, round domed cover with to the centre a mushroom shaped finial; hand and sponge painted in underglaze blue with around the exterior sides of the body a rural scene with a cottage, a pond, trees and bushes, to one side of the exterior body is the inscription "Presented to Mr & Mrs David / on their marriage / Febry 25 1912 / by Mrs R.P. David.", a similar rural scene with a cottage and trees to the top of the cover, blue bands to the foot-rim, lip-rim and the rim of the cover, the top of the finial painted blue.
