Obverse. The king seated on a back-less throne, wearing a low crown, a cloak fastened on his breast by a large quatrefoil-shaped brooch; in his right hand a tall sceptre flory surmounted by a cross, in his left hand the like topped by a bird; between the king’s feet, on a narrow foot-board, a small lion couchant.
