Cup and saucer
Conical cup, standing on a shallow footring, bifurcated acanthus scroll handle, painted with a blue-cloaked putto holding a cornucopia with a diamond-shaped panel formed by a running foliage border in a purple frame, inner edges lobed, the cup wreathed with swags of vine pendent from a gilt border of lappets and trefoils. Deep dish-shaped saucer, painted with a yellow robed maiden with an amphora in a similar panel, wreathed with vine. Rim gilded as on the cup. The figures are in the manner of Pompeian wall paintings.
