Plate, earthenware, standing on a tapering foot rim, incised banding above, sides rounded and rising steeply; transfer printed in red with the 'Archers' pattern; two female figures standing in the foreground holding archery equipment, in the background, a pavilion-style marquee, a large house and a boat on an expanse of water; the rim printed in red with floral motifs issuing from ornate scrolls on a lattice work and meander pattern ground with a dark red dentilled border to outer rim.
