Seal impression: Royal
Reverse. A figure of Britannia, wearing a loose dress, and seated in front of rocky cliffs. Her right hand holds a lance, her left hand an oval shield: Three lions passant guardant in pale, ENGLAND, impaling a lion rampant within a double tressure flory counter-flory, SCOTLAND. In field, dext. a thistle and a rose (of five points, seeded and barbed) springing from the same stem, above which a royal crown. Roses and thistles alternately form the stops of the legend.
