Vase, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a square base, tapering oviform body with spreading short pedestal foot and flaring neck, to either side of the body twin vertical winged caryatid handles; the upper body of the vase covered with a green ground against which is reserved to the front of the vase an irregular octagonal panel painted in polychrome enamels with a rural scene showing the figure of a young girl picking mushrooms with a cottage and trees in the background, the panel enclosed by a gilt border, the foot of the vase covered with a green ground, the base, the foot-rim, the lower body of the vase, the neck, the interior lip-rim and the lower section and wings of the handle painted gilt.
