Mug
Mug, earthenware, standing on a rounded slightly spreading foot-rim, cylindrical sides divided into six panels by vertical incised lines, a band of moulded anthemions around the foot-rim and exterior lip-rim, loop handle with raised thumb-spur and foliate moulding along the lower section; transfer-printed in blue with to the exterior sides of the mug two groups of shells and scrolls with sprays of flowers and leaves, border to the interior and exterior lip-rim and handle of a bell-flower motif alternating with a star-shaped motif besides an arching stippled blue band, covered all over with a brownish glaze which is mottled with darker spots to the interior of the mug.
