Mug
Mug, buff coloured earthenware, rounded foot-rim, wide bulbous sides tapering inwards at the shoulder then flaring out to an everted lip-rim, plain loop handle; the upper exterior of the body, the interior and the handle covered all over with a creamy-beige slip, to the exterior side of the mug opposite the handle is a combed decoration of brown slip giving a lined effect, these areas then glazed, the lower body and foot-rim left undecorated and unglazed.
