Scarlet Tulip with Yellow-Green Stem
Born in Colwyn Bay, Nerys Johnson was a widely respected curator and artist. She suffered from rheumatoid arthritis, with her work becoming smaller and more focused as her mobility became limited. Her final works are vivid and intense studies of the beauty of nature and colour.
