Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Dish, soft-paste porcelain with a white translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curving into rounded sides flaring at lip; lobed lip and cruciform moulding; painted with a deep border of small flower sprays within gilt c-scrolls, between gilt arabesque shaped cartouches containing a trellis pattern, below single flowers in enamel on a gilt dotted ground; flower spray painted in the centre; gilt band to lip.
