Italy Star (1943-45)
Italy Star awarded to Revd Ivor Lloyd Phillips Chaplain to the Forces, 1939-46. Philips served in Tunisia and Italy attached to 102 (Pembroke Yeomanry) Field Regiment, Royal Artillery. ‘He has carried out his duties in a completely selfless and devoted manner. His work has been unremitting and he is held in very deep esteem by all ranks.’
The Italy Star was given for operational service in Sicily or Italy: 11 June 1943 to 8 May 1945.
