Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain; cup standing on a rounded foot rim, London shape, and a thick curvaceous ogee handle; saucer standing on a rounded foot rim, with slightly curved spreading sides; both painted with set pattern 262 - a wide rich underglaze blue border with gilt-lined oval reserves of a pink rose on a pale lemon ground, between large gilt foliate scrolls and tendrils; underglaze blue and gilt medallion in the centre with a rosebud; gilt cup and saucer lip, gilt handle, and gilt band to foot rim.
