Cup and saucer
Cup, soft-paste porcelain, standing on a short cylindrical foot-rim, rounded ogee body, double intertwined handle with foliate moulding to the terminals; around the exterior upper body a border of floral swags finely painted in polychrome enamels with above a wide undulating underglaze blue border edged in gilt and overpainted with gilf foliate motifs, around the lower body a further undulating underglaze blue border edged in gilt, the handle picked out in gilt. Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, cinquefoil form with short cylindrical foot-rim, curving sides and lobed rim; around the sides of the well a border of floral swags finely painted in polychrome enamels with above a wide undulating underglaze blue border edged in gilt and overpainted with gilt foliate motifs, to the centre of the well a polychrome floral sprig enclosed by an undulating underglaze blue border edged in gilt, a gilt dentil edge to the rim. One side of the saucer broken and repaired.
