Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a flat base, globular body, wicker C-scroll handle, up-curved spout moulded with foliate decoration, slightly domed cover with flower finial springing from moulded stem; burnished gilt ground to body and cover (not spout or handle), decorated in polychrome enamels with `deutsche Blumen', a spray on one side (yellow, blue and purple flowers) and one sprig near handle, opposite a spray with a pink rose (and blue, purple and pink flowers), cover decorated with three different sprigs (one orange, one blue and one blue/yellow/purple), moulded sprig painted, spout highlighted with gilt.
