Plate, earthenware, circular shape with flat base, curving sides and spreading rim; to the centre of the well a small scene painted in browns and greens showing a tall stone monument in a rural setting surrounded by trees, the scene enclosed by a circular gilt border, further gilt bands around the well, the rim painted with an apricot coloured ground between two gilt bands. Plaster restoration to the rim where it has been previously broken.
