Jug
Jug, pearlware, ovoid form, standing on an oval spreading waisted foot, bulbous sides sloping inwards at the shoulder to a straight-sided neck with rounded lip-rim, plain beak spout, square-shouldered angular handle with raised thumb-spur, the exterior sides of the jug moulded with a raised hunting scene showing figures on horseback, hounds and trees, around the exterior neck and spout a raised moulded Greek key-shape border, two narrow bands of beading around the shoulder; the exterior of the jug covered all over with silver lustre apart from the raised moulded areas which are left in the white, this then decorated using silver resist techniques with a white band around the foot-rim, a border of leaves around the shoulder, and leaves and dashes to the handle, a silver lustre band around the interior lip-rim and spout.
