Teapot, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain, with a pale, slightly green translucency; standing on a straight sided foot rim, indented above; serpent head spout with scallop moulding at base; high loop handle with palmette moulding, and a scroll enclsing an embossed floret; domed cover with acorn finial; painted in polychrome enamels with single flower sprays including pink roses, forget-me-nots, tulips, and bluebells; gilt detail to handle and spout moulding, gilt finial, and gilt bands to foot rim, lip and cover rim.
