Dutch oven
Dutch oven (plate warmer), tin-plate, rectangular box-shaped form with a hinged door to the front and an open back divided by two vertical metal rods, to either side twin lion mask and ring handles, inside one shelf, standing on four curving legs; the exterior covered all over with a broght red japan, the top and front of the plate warmer decorated with borders of white poppies and gilt leaves, gilt pillars to either side of the door.
