Cup, coffee
Coffee cup, hard-paste porcelain, cylindrical shape, standing on a flat base, tall, straight sides, angular handle, two borders of moulded spheres and lobes around lip and around foot; decorated in raised relief scenes painted with polychrome enamels, on one side with two naked figures and a dog, a tree in the centre, plants either side, opposite two figures seated in a landscape, one a female wearing pink clothes and reading from a book, the other a child behind her, sides also decorated with five different scattered sprigs, five insects, one pink flowered spray and a single leaf, gilt concentric circle to foot rim, gilt dentil border to lip, gilding to handle.
