Spirit lamp and stand
Spirit lamp, brass, flat circular top and rounded base, to the top a collar around an aperture into which fits a device consists of a cog on a long rod, possibly an ignition device, from another hole in the top of the lamp issues a long piece of wire, twisted into a circle at the end, from either side of the lamp protrude two short metal rods, one now broken off, to attach the lamp to the stand. Lamp stand, brass, circular dish-shaped form with curved handle to one side and a small metal loop projecting from the other side, to either side of the well are two metal posts to which the lamp would once have been attached.
