Site Name: Scethrog, Powys
Notes: Original monument was first recorded (in Lhuyd's notebook) at 'Pentre Yskythrog' in Llan Sanfred parish, Brecknockshire. This location was confirmed by Theophilus Jones (1809) who stated that when the turnpike road was made, the stone was placed close to the hedge on the right-hand (S. or W. side) of the road, "4 miles 7 furlongs south of Brecon". It is now located in the Brecon County Museum where it was placed in 1951. It is marked on the OS 1:10 000 Map as the 'Victorinus Stone'.
