Early Medieval silver ingot
Complete finger-shaped silver ingot with rounded ends, narrow base, tapering straight sides, and wider, slightly convex top surface. The ingot has been bent in half, and there are three assaying nicks grouped together on one side.

Site Name: Llandwrog, Gwynedd
Notes: Grid reference to be treated as CONFIDENTIAL Ingots (2016.8H/18-21) found in immediate asociation with the coins (2016.8H/1-17) with the aid of a metal detector by Mr Hanks in a field of pasture, at a depth of about 10-16 inches on land owned by Mr David Henry Jones, Bryn Rhedyn, Llanwnda, Caernarvon, Gwynedd. The finder reports thier being found within a hole 1m by 0.5m, situated on a slight rise, at the same depth as three coins that had stuck together.
