Site Name: Coed-y-Glorian, Llanedeyrn

Notes: Hoard of Roman coins found by Thomas Evans when ploughing his field. Approx. 800 coins were found in an earthenware pot at Coed-y-Clorian, two miles west of St. Mellons. The Museum has 110 coins and a fragment of pottery from this hoard. The hoard to be known as 'Llanedeyrn I' (cf Llanedeyrn II, 76.26H)
