Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate of creamy, grit speckled earthenware, sides convex, then rounded and flaring to form rim; painted in the centre in bright polychrome colours with an exotic bird in blue red and yellow on a pedestal with chinoiserie style fencing to one side, surrounded by loosely painted foliage and flowers in blue red and purple with an iron red foreground; all contained within a thin iron red band with thick black band to outer rim.
