Aerial view of the first phase of construction of the Sandfields Estate, Aberafan, built to house workers in the steel industry. The houses were initially mainly single storey pre-fabs, and "Cornish units" by Selleck and Nicholls. Moors Farm is in the centre foreground separated from the housing estate by the Rhondda & Swansea Bay Railway.
