Jug
Jug, pearlware, standing on a rounded spreading foot-rim, globular body with a band of horizontal ribbing around the lower body, cylindrical neck, beak spout with shell-like moulding to the underside, scrolled foliate moulded loop handle; the exterior of the jug apart from the lower body covered with a copper lustre ground against which are reserved to the front and either side of the jug three roughly rectangular panels crudely painted in polychrome enamels with floral sprays, pink lustre bands around the lower body and interior and exterior lip-rim and spout, the moulding to the underside of the spout edged in pink lustre, a pattern of stylized pink lustre foliage to the handle. A large chip missing from the foot-rim.
