Tobacco-box
Tobacco-box, wood, straight-sided oval form with hinged lid, to the centre of the lid a moveable strirrup-shaped handle, loose inside the box a flat oval tobacco-presser with ivory knob, a key-hole and lock to the front of the box; the exterior of the box, the underside of the lid and the upperside of the tobacco-presser plated with tin covered with a black japan and decorated with red and yellow lines, the exterior of the box edged with stamped brass.
