Cup and saucer
Cup and saucer, bone china with whitish translucency, second gadroon shape, the cup with a slightly tapering foot ring, ogee curved sides with outturned undulating rim in four lobes and gadroon-moulded, the handle a kidney-shaped scrolled loop with C-scroll below, leaf moulding on top, the saucer with tapering foot ring, flared sides, six-lobed undulating rim, gadroon-moulded, and with raised centre and recessed well; decorated inside the cup and saucer with pink and white briar roses and other wild flowers (honeysuckle, white hedge rose, bluebell, thick-stemmed heather, cowslip, speedwell), the gadroon moulding and handle gilded, a gilt ring round the foot of the cup, a gilt vine tendril round the outside of the cup.
