Early Medieval copper alloy strip
Fragment of a silvered bronze strip with repousse decoration of boss and scrolls. It is doubtful whether any edge is original, so any measurements represent minimums. Ther are traces of an iron rivet to the right of the central scroll. The Celtic affinities of the ornament are clear, though no good parallels are available.
