Vauxhall (Crisp and Sanders factory, 1751-1764)
Irregularly edged squarish plaque, relief moulded with classical scene of a bearded man, wearing a short toga and cloak, with a cupid in chains kneeling in front of him, and a female figure holding a victor's palm in one hand, crowning him with a wreath. The mans' cloak, womans' dress, and wreath, picked out in underglaze blue. Two holes at the top for hanging.
