CAPE GRAFTON. Built 1943 as a 7952gt Merchant Aircraft Carrier, EMPIRE MACANDREW by William Denny & Brothers, Dumbarton, for MoWT, managed by Hain Steamship Co., St. Ives. 1946 – Sold to McCowan & Gross Ltd., London, converted to a cargo ship and renamed DERRYHEEN in 1947. 1951 – Sold to Cape of Good Hope Motor Ship Co Ltd., and renamed CAPE GRAFTON., managed by Lyle Shipping Co Ltd., Glasgow. 1963 – Sold to Patricia Cia. Nav. SA, Monrovia, and renamed PATRICIA managed by C.I. Caroussis. 1968 – Sold to Pomos Shipping Co Ltd., Famagusta (same name), managed by Chios Navigation Co Ltd., London (owned by the Caroussis and Pittas brothers). She was broken up at Hsingkiang, China in 1970.
VICTOR (153gt) : Steam tug built 1898 by Pool, Skinner & Williams of Falmouth, engines by Cox and Co. for W.J.Thomas and family of Falmouth. 1917-1919 - Admiralty service as VICTOR. 1934 – Sold to Jennet Dewsbury, Swansea 1939 – To George Dewsbury, Swansea 1946 – Sold to William & Ira Guy and Frederick Thomas, Cardiff 1949 – Sold to J. Davies Towage & Salvage Ltd, Cardiff. She was broken up c1954/5
