Teapot and cover
Teapot, soft-paste porcelain, short cylindrical foot-rim, globular body, short cylindrical neck, plain curving spout, loop handle with raised thumb-spur and moulded ridges along the length of its lower section, round domed cover with flat collar-like rim, to the centre of the cover a pointed mushroom shaped finial, a pierced steam hole to one side of the cover; painted in dark underglaze blue with around the exterior sides of the teapot and the top of the cover scattered sprigs and sprays of Chinese-style flowers and foliage, a dark blue underglaze dentil loop border around the shoulder of the teapot and the rim of the cover.
