Figure group, soft-paste porcelain, two female nymphs are in the act of tormenting cupid, one is in the act of binding him to a tree while the arrow hold his bow across her knee in the act of breaking it, known as 'Virgins distressing Cupid',modelled base with applied sprigs; the nymphs wear purple and orange patterned robes and pink cloaks, glazed.
