Dillwyn & Co., Cambrian Pottery (1811 - 1817 and 1824 - 1850)
Plate, earthenware, circular shape with rounded foot-rim, cushion-moulded sides and spreading concave rim, a raised edge to the well, to the rim four plain lobes alternate with four waved lobes; transfer-printed in blue with to the centre of the well and sides of the rim five spreading sprays of flowers, foliage and scrolls, two with shells, narrow border to the outer rim of small scrolls issuing bell flowers interspersed with patterns of stylised flower heads with an arching stippled blue band below.
